A Peek into my Room: Nail Polish Jar

I recently got this jar from a thrift store for $.50. I wasn't sure what to put in it at first, but I needed somewhere to keep my nail polish, and I thought it might do for that. I really love the way it looks. ♥

I am, however, wondering if I should label it somehow. I thought it might look cool if it said "Nail Polish" somewhere on the jar, I'm just not sure how to do it. Should I just tape a piece of paper on it, or should I paint the top with chalkboard paint? Or something else? I'm open to any and all suggestions.

  1. I stole that idea and have mine in a jar as well now. It is balanced on a green..shelf thing...so yours is cooler on your desk.
Why do I say cool all the time now? I should start saying fantastic instead of grand...8-D
Anyhow, I thought I would ramble. Now I will go and comment on your other post.

  3. that's a cute idea. I like it. I don't wear nail polish other than black on my toes (doing that for the past nearly 12 years).

  4. Hi! New reader here. I love the nail polish in a jar idea. I may have to steal that from you. And, you should definitely give it a label. I vote for using paint over paper.

  5. Lovely idea! I think paint idea sounds nice - but without a label would be just fine too.
