Sunny Day // Daily Outfit

 {skirt//thrifted :: blouse//Candies :: cardigan//Target :: necklace//Target :: tights//Target :: shoes//Blowfish Shoes :: bag//ModCloth :: glasses//courtesy of Glasses USA}

This is what I wore on Tuesday. I meant to post it yesterday, but if you follow me on Twitter you're aware of the fact that we had major family drama going on Tuesday night, so I wasn't able to get around to editing these pics.

The weather was gorgeous on Tuesday! It was in the 50's, sunny and windy. I had so much fun walking to the bus stop to pick up the little girl I sometimes baby sit so I could walk her to day care (she's in kindergarten).

I've made it my mission this month to be wearing an outfit I like, with my hair and make up done by the time I have to walk down to the bus stop. Being home schooled makes it very easy to be lazy and wear nothing but a baggy t-shirt and jeans all day, but I'm trying to break that habit. I don't really mind walking down to the bus stop wearing a lazy day outfit, but I feel better when I'm wearing an outfit I actually like, so I figure that's as good a motivation as any. ;)

Hope you're all having as lovely a week as I am!

  2. Your hair is cute like that. It is a nice style and length on you. And you look all Western in blue jeans and plaid. Even the pink helps it out. You were probably going for a Western look, eh?
    I got a calendar for you. Has cars on it, cool ones I assume. My brothers say they are cool but they might not met our version of cool. Remind me to give it to you.
    For some reason your outfit makes me think of the Avengers. It is probably your Pepper skirt.

  4. Wow, I'm really impressed that you're homeschooled, I always wanted to be homeschooled when I was at highschool. I just wish we had a Target in the UK because that necklace is the cutest thing ever!
