Dream Like I've Never Dreamed

I'mma dance like I never dance
Sing like I never sing, dream like I've never dreamed
Or try to, 'cause we've been lied to
That the sun is somethin' that we can't fly to

This is a late post. I wore this last Friday, and just haven't got around to blogging it yet. My life has been so odd lately. So far this is not my best year ever. I feel very lost and as if I'm just trying to figure out who I am. It's all just very confusing.
So, as I said in my last post, I've been feeling some boho vibes trying to escape into my wardrobe. Since I had almost no summer clothes, my mom took me to the thrift store last week where I spent >$45 dollars, and got a ton of summer clothes! This necklace and bag were part of that haul. The blouse was from a civil war costume I got on Ebay a few years ago. I really like how the outfit turned out, and I loved how my hair looked, even if it isn't very red....Two weekends ago I dyed my hair. It was supposed to be red, but it turned out more auburn (it looks really red here because of the sunset) It's my fault - I didn't saturate the ends enough. The roots look nice. So, in a couple weeks I'm going to try again. I just have to decide if I want to use the same dye, or go a little lighter - just in case. Decisions, decisions...

  1. I REALLY like this outfit! It is so cute. Reminds me of the sixties...I think it is. You know, the hype age? Only it is cuter. I sort of like some of the hype things. Like the pants and shirts...I like how you braided part of your hair too. This whole outfit reminds me of Julie from the American Girl. Even the title fits 8-D
Anyhow, it is SO cute! You should try this with shorts sometime. And your straw hat.
I've missed your posts. Thanks for posting again, it is always nice to have new pictures to look at. Oh, and I like your hair. I want to see it without the light so I can see how red it is 8-D I think it turned out pretty though.
Hehehe, sorry, I'm rambling. One last thing though. You should try this outfit and wear your glasses. I just thought that would be cute too 8-D
    Love always,
    Jack

  2. Truly am enjoying how the new layout is looking!
This is a sweet outfit on you.
Of course I would do a swap. . but I don't have many clothes left because I've been selling most of what I have. However, I will need to wait a little bit before I send you something to wear because I am getting sent a load of things from people (so when I have less borrowed from people, I'll let you know). What are your measurements, if you don't mind me asking? You can email me the measurements (marvelousthingsphoto@gmail.com) I want to make sure that we'll be able to wear the clothes we swap! I am sure we are similar in size but I am really really small busted.
