"A Bit Not Good, Yeah."

The title has no relation to this post. I actually like these pictures a lot. It is a quote from Sherlock that I had in my head the whole time I was taking these pictures - probably because I have dubbed this jacket "my Watson jacket."

You can't tell in these pictures, but the black shirt is actually a black teeshirt with a black lace tanktop over it. I love it paired with this outfit: the feminine, lacy black shirt with the chic black belt and girly pink flower paired with the tom-boyish olive green military jacket and messenger bag inspired purse. Love. <3

I have some non-fashion photography from today posted on Flickr, too, if your interested. That reminds me: I am looking into selling some of my photography on Etsy. What do you lovely gals think of the idea? Think any of it would sell? Let me know what you think, and if you like the idea please tell me which shots you think I should start with.

Thanks! You all are awesome!

  1. I think you should definitely sell some of your photography! I looked through some of your work and fell in love with quite a few of your shots. My absolute favorites are "The Apartment Above" and "Beneath the Shadow." There are so many more beautiful ones also; I'm just a sucker for black and white shots of buildings!
Keep up your amazing work - I love your blog!

  3. Somehow, you manage to take the most simple things and make them lovely, it will always fascinate me. I don't think I will ever be able to figure out how you can make jeans look pretty and lady like. And adding a milatary jacket! You are amazing, DLS!
Keep up the great work, and that sun room was the perfect backdrop, you should use it more often 8-D
