Sew Lovely Dress // Daily Outfit

Remember this summer when Molly let me borrow this gorgeous handmade dress? Well - being the dear that she is - she let me take it home and borrow it again after our Christmas party last weekend. It's one of my favorite dresses. The colors are all of my favorites, and it just seems to go with everything in my closet - even (maybe especially?) my Lita spikes. *wink*

On another subject, happy Hobbit day, y'all! Today after work I'm heading to the theater with my mom and Maddie, and my dad is meeting up with us after his plane lands (he's been on a business trip since Tuesday) then we're all going to wait in line for hours so we can try to get good seats for the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. It's gonna be epic! I've wanted a movie of the Hobbit since LOTR came out - over 10 years ago! And after over four years of hearing that so-and-so is going to direct and such-and-such actor is rumored to be playing Bilbo- wait! No, that guy is not going to direct and they have another actor in mind for Bilbo, etc. it's finally filmed and finished with the perfect director and some of my favorite actors! I'm just so excited, y'all!

Are any of you going to the midnight showing? If so I'd love to hear all about it tomorrow! (Or today if you're in the southern hemisphere. *wink*)

  1. You look adorable. Love that dress, and might I say I want your hair? So pretty.

I am so excited for "The Hobbit"! I'm going to see it tonight with my friends. We're all huge LOTR fans :)

  2. AH! The Hobbit! So many good movies coming out! And I love this dress - it's so pretty in the winter too - I loved seeing the old post and this one - the dress looks great on you.

  3. This outfit is really cute. It is almost summery.

I would say I hope The Hobbit is worth the wait, but this is Peter Jackson and Martin Freeman - it will be. Though I keep missing Sherlock whenever I watch the previews. I shan't shout in the threatre though...try not to at least.

  4. I'm going to go see it as well this weekend, I can't wait! xo

  5. Have fun at The Hobbit! I'm hoping to see it sometime next week. :)

  6. I'm in love with this dress and I can't wait to see the Hobbit. Midnight showings are the best.

  7. You look awesome, this outfit is so incredible. I adore it..:)

  8. I looove the dress! It's perfect. And yes, I cannot wait to watch The Hobbit. I've also been waiting forever and ever for it, biting my nails for years waiting to see how and when they were going to make it, and it's finally here! I can't go to the midnight showing =( unfortunately. But I'm so going on Saturday.

  9. What else can I say except LOVE! The whole outfit is so adorable.

I have given you the Liebster blog award Katie over at my blog. You can do the tag if you want, but you don't have to. It would humor me. :)

    Merry Christmas!
