We Left That Change Somewhere Behind

A week from today I'll be back there, and I can't really explain to you how exciting and terrifying that is.

I feel like a lot of times you guys only see half of me - the girly, clothes loving, hipster-like girl.

There's more to me than that.

I love shooting my dad's handgun and can't wait to own my own.

Country music will always hold a dear place in my heart.

I prefer flannels and boot cut jeans on guys more than any other outfit.

I love old cars and want to learn about them.

I'll be using Mason jars long after the hipsters have moved on.

I'm not a city girl, and I don't want to be pegged as one again.

I don't want other people's ideas of me to define who I am anymore.

xo,

Katie

  5. I think it's neat that bloggers get to show all these aspects - I'm a city girl myself, and the idea of me owning a gun is frightening (simply because I am clumsy and shouldn't. I'd be like that New Girl episode where she keeps pointing the rifle at people or something awful)but anyhow part of the reason I read other blogs is to see other people's lives and opinions -there are you and a few other bloggers who I love reading because it doesn't take places in a big city.

  7. Sometimes it's scary to show both sides of who you are, but I think it always make your readers appreciate you more for being true to yourself.

  8. Fun post. I like this blog... sweet background.

How do you feel like people's ideas of you define who you are? You can be anyone... despite what others think!

I'm a country girl, literally, but a city girl at heart. I thrive in the city, and the country is really uninspiring to me. Not enough culture, I think?

I think guns are very scary, but I do love men in boot cut and flannel. glad to have discovered your blog. It's only my first visit, but can't wait to read more!
