The White Sheet Fashion Photo Shoot

Friday was a very foggy day. I ran out to get some outfit pictures in the park, but I don't think they're very good as outfit pictures. It's too hard to see the outfit. I'm posting my outfit today rather late. I kept putting off going outside since I was rather discouraged by the gray weather. I was convinced I wouldn't be able to get any good pictures because of it. How wrong I was! You can see the rest of my photos from today on my Flickr page.

I got this jacket last night from Target. It was originally $39.99, but it was clearenced so I got it for $10! I'm so happy. It reminds me of an army jacket (after my big sister pointed that out, at least) which reminds me of Watson.

I also got these shoes last night. They weren't clearenced. But they were worth it.

The Last Rays of Sunlight

I took these photos yesterday with the intent of them being my daily outfit post. My dear mother drove me to a nearby park (I'm not allowed to walk there by myself) and I shot the pictures. I was happy with them at the time, but when I went to post them today I found that you can hardly distinguish the outfit in the fading light because I took the pictures from the wrong angle.

*sighs* Oh well. My one consolation is that at least the pictures are still pretty.

As you know, I am trying to wear more colors, and what better way to do it than with this stunning bracelets?? I just love the purple and blue on it. <3>

Faceted Swirl Solid Bangle
I heard that big bangles are going to be a trend this spring. I am excited. I love bangles - despite the fact that I don't own any. Hmm... maybe it's time I break that trend. Plus, plastic won't irritated my contact dermatitis (nickle allergies).

For the Love of Summer Fashion Photography Shoot

Earlier this week my friends Christina and Andrew and I dressed up in Summer-y clothes to do a photo shoot at the snow covered beach near our house. I must admit that it was much colder, and more uncomfortable than I had imagined when I came up with the idea, but I think the pictures were worth it.

Black and Blue

This is what I wore today. My strategy was an old fall back: "just pair it with black tights, pumps, and a black leather jacket and it'll look fine!" It actually ended up looking very much like an outfit my big sister wore when she came to visit last summer - but that's probably because we have the same leather jacket... Not that I'm complaining. I happen to think it's a very pretty outfit. I can't wait till the weather warms up, as I have some very pretty sandals to wear with this dress...

I also got to use my new purse from the Mulberry for Target collection. I'd had my eye on it for a while, and just couldn't pass it up when I saw one on sale for half price! I think it was because of some discolorations on the back - but they were so slight I barely noticed them!

Music Mondays - #5 Selena Gomez's A Year Without Rain

I really liked Selena Gomez's first album, Kiss and Tell, but when I heard the title song for A Day Without Rain, I didn't think I'd like her second album very much. It wasn't until A Day Without Rain was played in an episode of Wizards of Waverly Place that I began to like the song. It's now one of my favorite songs. I don't know what made me like it. I guess it must have to do with the beat. I love a song with a good beat.
