Lately {It's Begining to Look a Lot Like Christmas}

1. Enjoying my new Betsy Johnson sunglasses from Little Black Bag.
2. Making perogis for Thanksgiving with my little sisters
3. The farmers market in the town where I work has been replaced with a Christmas tree farm.
4. Maddie's cranberry cobbler
5. Maddie got me this ah-mazing necklace from Claire's!
6. I really want this Christmas tree ornament!
7. I love this little red cacti!
8. My family finally put our tree up.
9. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - a Christmas tradition with my family.

1. River // Haley Westenra
2. Let it Snow // Celtic Woman
3. The First Noel // Josh Groban
4. Peppermint Winter // Owl City
5. White is in the Winter Night // Enya

1. Maddie got me the Haley Westenra Christmas album for my sixteenth birthday and I still love it! It's definitely become a Christmas tradition for me.
2. Celtic Woman used to be one of my favorite bands and this is still one of my favorite renditions of Let it Snow.
3. Over the weekend I finally bought Josh Groban's Christmas album. He's def one of my favorite artists - I mean, his voice is so amazing and I really love this song sung by him.
4. Peppermint Winter is Owl City's one and only Christmas song so of course I'm listening to it! It's a really fun/funny song for Christmas. I really wish Owl City would do a whole Christmas album.
5. And Winter Came was one of the first whole albums I bought on iTunes and it's still a favorite of mine! I remember listening to it the whole time I worked on NaNoWriMo in 2008, and it's another album that's become a Christmas tradition with me.

1. Once Upon a Time
2. Doc Martin

1. This show was on again last night after a week break, and it was really good to get back to it! I can't wait to see what happens with Cora (and am I the only one who is really liking Mr. Gold and Regina this season?)
2. My family forgot about this show for a while, but we've started watching it again and the season we're on right now (three, maybe?) is really good! I'm glad to see that it looks like Doc Martin and Louisa are sort of getting together. *winks*

It's in the Rain // Daily Outfit

You guys have no idea how hilarious I must have looked taking these pictures! I took them in the downtown area of the town over from where I work on my way into work Wednesday morning. It was raining gently and here I am - all dolled up in heels and a skirt - running around with my camera wrapped up in a plastic grocery bag posing for pictures of myself. I can assure that I got more than one or two funny looks.

But really, let’s talk about these tights for a minute, because I think I’m in love! They are the cutestest, darlingest things ever and despite the fact that i got a run in one of the feet the very first time I wore them I really think I will have to buy a few more pairs. (Random hilarious fact: when I came downstairs Wednesday morning one of my little sisters thought I had drawn polkadots on my legs! Lol!)

Another thing I just have to mention is how amazingly awesome it is that the bakery next door to the shoppe where I work serves Lavaza coffee! Lavaza coffee is - in my opinion - the best coffee out there and the only kind I’ll drink. It was so nice to have a hot cup of coffee on the way into work on such a wet and rainy day. I have a feeling that $2 is going to really add up over time, but at least it’s cheaper than Starbucks!  ♥

Lately {A Weekend Away + Audrey Hepburn}

1. Working on blog stuff + writing emails till 2 or 3am. Yep, this is what I do sometimes.
2. Breakfast - granola + dried cherries + milk & doughnuts. Sounds healthy.
3. I'm so proud of myself for only packing one small bag + my train case for a weekend trip. Score!
4. Rockin' an up-do + floral sunglasses during our car trip.
5. The Illinois landscape.
6. Practical shoes for a fun day at the amusement park.
7. The ferris wheel. These things always remind me of Doctor Who episode, Rose.
8. My makeup sitting on the hotel window sill.
9. My new hipster ring (from my dad!) + the only drip coffee I ever drink

2. Eternity // Owl City
3. The teasers of the Midsummer Station songs on iTunes // Owl City
4. Call Me Maybe // Carly Rae Jepsen
5. Paddy's Green Shamrock Shore // The Boatrights

1. This is one of my favorites of all of Enya's songs. Ever since seeing the music video it always makes me think of Chicago at night in the winter - and St. Louis in the autumn during a shower isn't too far off, which made it the perfect song for this weekend.
2. You can read my review of this song here.
3. Adam Young recently released 1.5 minute preview of each of the unrelased songs from Midsummer Station (Owl City's newest album, scheduled for relase on the 21st of this year), and so far I'm addicted! I especially love Bombshell Blonde, and I'm Coming After You. ♥
4. This song is still on my playlist since it usually takes a week or two for me to get sick of a new song. *winks*
5. The Boatrights is one of my favorite bands. They're a little, unknown family band that used to play. They've since stopped preforming, and it's neigh impossible to find their songs anywhere anymore (although there is one more on YouTube - and it wasn't uploaded by me!). It's really sad, though, because they play some of the best Celtic folk music I've ever heard. This is one of my favorite songs by them.

 1. Pawn Stars
2. Breakfast at Tiffany's
3. Roman Holiday

1. This is one of the few shows that my whole family can agree on. Some of the stuff that comes into the pawn shop is just crazy, and I'm convinced that I'll become a better barterer from watching - which is bound to come in handy when attending garage/yard sales and flea markets!
2. My friend Ethan got me started on this movie and boy am I glad he did! It's one of my favorites - even if I couldn't exactly tell you what it's about. It's just such a cute, sweet movie. ♥
3. When Molly heard that I liked Breakfast at Tiffany's she suggested I watch this movie. We watched it last night and - though I didn't like it quite as much as Breakfast at Tiffany's - I did really like it! I just wish the ending was a bit happier...

Enya's Only If // Music Monday

Ok, I want you all to know that I literally had to make a conscious effort not to feature another Adam Young song this week. (Also, the reason there was no MM post last week is because I couldn't think of one! *so pathetic*)

So instead you have another of my top favorite artists ever: Enya. I started liking her music when I was just twelve years old, and even though I don't listen to it as much as I once did, there's still just nothing like her music. It. Is. Amazing. (Rivaled only by Owl City and Sky Sailing - and I think she still might just win that contest...maybe) And this is one of my favorite songs by her ever. ♥
