Wish List Wednesday: Summer Dresses

1. Shawl Collar Poplin Shirtdress by Eshakti
2. Flower the Leader Dress from ModCloth
3. Adelaide Dress by Eshakti
4. Too Much Fun Dress in Airplanes by Emily and Fin
5. 50'S High tea Dress - Navy Bow Stripe by Trollied Dolly
6. Ready to Meet Dress in Dots by Emily and Fin

Winter has been grinding on my nerves lately, and I'm longing for summer! I'm tired of worrying about coordinating my dress, cardigan, tights, and shoes, and can't wait till the day when I just throw on a dress + shoes and maybe a light jacket or sweater! So I've been doing the only sensible thing I can do: looking online at all the lovely dresses I'd love to have for the coming months!

Anything you're craving for the warm months this year? Link me up! I'd love to see it!

Disclosure: While no one asked me to write this post, and I received nothing for writing it, several of the links above are affiliate links. Having said that is not the reason I wrote this post, and I picked out all the dresses because I like them - in fact I've had my eye on several of them for weeks.

Autumn Wish List // Wish List Wednesday

Autumn Must Haves
In the summer layers disappear as the heat rises. I wear less makeup and my style generally takes on a bit more of a bohemian-esque feel (hey, I did say a bit!), but in the autumn as the weather starts to cool off, I eagerly jump whole-heartedly back into my posh, preppy style. Here are some of the pieces I am longing for this autumn:

1. A basic black cardigan
2. A basic, high-waisted black skirt.
3. A blue polka-dot skirt
4. A basic tan trench coat
5. A bright plumy lipstick (pictured here: MAC in Ruby Woo).
6. A hot pink lipstick.
7. A bright red lipstick (pictured here: Kat Von D in Underage Love).
8. Black suspenders.
9. Black lace tights.
10. A dark teal cardigan
11. Black Mary Jane pumps.
12. Black ballet flats (with studs, perhaps?)
13. A navy polka-dot blouse (extra points for a Peter Pan collar!)

Lonely Soles // Wish List Wednesday

Last night I discovered this Tumblr blog. It's called "Lonely Soles," and it is the coolest, most horrible blog I've ever seen. The two gals who run the blog - Alex and Chelsea - create the most amazing fictional shoes ever. And therein lies the problem - they're fictional. Which means I cannot go strutting around in Doctor Who, Avengers or Lord of the Rings litas. This causes me great sorrow.

So go check out the blog and sorrow with me! You won't be sorry that you did (actually, I'm lying - you totally will be sorry when you find your dream pair of shoes and know you can never have it. ;D)/

Guest Post from Maria of Avenue M // Wish List Wednesday

Hello dear readers of Beautifully Pure,

My name is Maria and I have a blog called Avenue M. Most of the time I like to write about frivolous days, my love for vintage and pretty things, wishlists and inspirations. When Katie asked me if I would like to guest post for her, I jumped at the chance! Her blog is gorgeous ♥
I haven't conjured up a wishlist of realistic and ridiculous wants in a while, so I though it would be the perfect time. Here are a few things that I would love to add to my wardrobe:

This gorgeous satchel from Oasap is the perfect pastel outfit companion.

Caitlin Shearer is one of the coolest Aussie artists you'll ever hear about! Her dresses and prints are so unique. I love this little lookbook she sketched for Audrey Grace Boutique. Her wonderful way with watercolours depicts Audrey Hepburn & Grace Kelly's classic style perfectly.

Isn't this bikini on Norma Jean (Marilyn Monroe) gorgeous? They are so perfect for summer and very flattering. As soon as summer comes around again for me (I live in Australia!) I will be on the hunt for something as cute as this ♥

I found this DIY on Pinterest the other day and fell in love instantly! Adding roses to the sides of sunglasses is the perfect way to add a little bit of pretty to them. You can view the full DIY here.

I hope you enjoyed this little wishlist, and please, come visit me over at my blog; Avenue M
