In My Red Converse // Daily Outfit

This is one of my favorite photo locations ever. The city built a new baseball diamond in this park who knows when and just let this one to become overgrown and forgotten. It's such a beautifully eery place for photos. One of my favorite photo sets was taken here just last summer. ♥

Anyway, about this outfit: this is what I wore to work last Saturday. I've been wanting a pair of red Converse for a quite a while now as homage to the 10th Doctor (my favorite!) so of course I also wrote his catch phrase on them! Speaking of, did you all hear that David Tennant and Billie Piper will definately be in the 50th anniversary episode!? I squealed with excitement when I found out! *winks*

P.S. Is it weird that I don't like lacing my Converse up to the last eyelet, but instead stop at the second to last? The top eyelet just seems *so* high up on my ankle!

xo,

Katie Burry

Wildwood Flower // Trollied Dolly Review + Daily Outfit

While I was on vacation in Missouri I did a bit of online shopping, and this dress was the one of the pieces I picked up. It's from Trollied Dolly, and I've been wanting to try one of their dresses ever since I saw their brand on ModCloth, and when I saw they were having a 25% off all dresses, and the dress I loved was already on sale - well, let's be honest, who would pass that up!?

So, since I'd been wanting to try this brand out for a while, I thought I would go ahead and give it a short review. Spoiler! I love it!

The quality is fantastic. The dress feels super well made, and it's actually long enough to be worn without tights! What!? What is this even!? It's also super adorable, and though Trollied Dolly never responded when I contacted them about forgetting to specify that my address is in the United States and not the United Kingdom (I've got a dream!*) the dress still manged to get to me within two weeks!

I love this dress so much and I cannot wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear it without tights! I also can't wait for March 15th, when Trollied Dolly released their summer 2013 line! ♥

xo,

Katie

Winter has been grinding on my nerves lately, and I'm longing for summer! I'm tired of worrying about coordinating my dress, cardigan, tights, and shoes, and can't wait till the day when I just throw on a dress + shoes and maybe a light jacket or sweater! So I've been doing the only sensible thing I can do: looking online at all the lovely dresses I'd love to have for the coming months!

Anything you're craving for the warm months this year? Link me up! I'd love to see it!

Disclosure: While no one asked me to write this post, and I received nothing for writing it, several of the links above are affiliate links. Having said that is not the reason I wrote this post, and I picked out all the dresses because I like them - in fact I've had my eye on several of them for weeks.
