Lately... (BBC Shows + Cleaning My Room}

1. I love that - for the most part - my hair looks great when I get up in the morning. Especially on days when I over sleep...
2. You don't really appreciate how long it takes to heat something up in the oven until your microwave is broken. So glad we got a new one!
3. I found these notebooks in my room. They're all filled with school stuff I haven't needed for months. This is why I'm cleaning out my room, y'all!
4. My little sister packed me a lunch for work and this is the bag she used! How adorable!! ♥
5. My dad helping me with a special room project. I can't wait to show you all it!
6. I don't know how this is comfortable, but she looked soooooo cute!! ♥
7. Trying on dresses in Deliah*s. If this had been longer I'd have been tempted to buy it. :(
8. Froyo with Maddie!
9. I've gotten back into the habit of taking outfit photos regularly and I love it. ♥

1. Work of Art // Rachel Platten
2. I Am the Doctor // Muray Gold
4. The Avengers Theme // Alan Silvestri
5. Dreams and Disasters // Owl City

1. This song is still on my playlist because a) I love it and b) it makes me feel inspired/encouraged. ♥
2. Doctor Who was on again on Saturday night and I wore a TARDIS t shirt on Sunday so of course I had to listen to this song on the way to work!
3. This song got me through some very difficult drama earlier this week. So thanks for that Taylor.
4. TOMORROW, Y'ALL! Need I say more?
5. Another really encouraging and inspiring song - plus it includes Adam Young!

1. Doctor Who season 7
2. Wallander

1. Still watching Doctor Who season 7, although I can't say that I'm anymore impressed than I was after the second episode. It all feels very rushed (and at the same time it feels like they're just killing time till the Ponds leave...) and I'm very disappointed that the Ponds leaving will not be a two parter. Steven Moffat I'm ready for you to quit Doctor Who...
2. A BBC mystery show featuring Tom Hiddleson. It has to be good, right!? (In all seriousness it is a fantastic show and Tom Hiddleson really is an incredible actor! Can't wait to see him as Loki again this week!)

Lonely Soles // Wish List Wednesday

Last night I discovered this Tumblr blog. It's called "Lonely Soles," and it is the coolest, most horrible blog I've ever seen. The two gals who run the blog - Alex and Chelsea - create the most amazing fictional shoes ever. And therein lies the problem - they're fictional. Which means I cannot go strutting around in Doctor Who, Avengers or Lord of the Rings litas. This causes me great sorrow.

So go check out the blog and sorrow with me! You won't be sorry that you did (actually, I'm lying - you totally will be sorry when you find your dream pair of shoes and know you can never have it. ;D)/

Lately {My Superhero Obsession}

 1. My kitty found the one spot of sunshine in the room for her nap.
2. You can't tell very well in this picture, but for some reason the front two sections of my hair decided to straighten out that day. It was weird.
3. Finally got me some more fro yo. I wish Tutti Frutti wasn't 45min away. *sadface*
4. I took Maddie to see the midnight showing of Dark Knight Rises for a late birthday present - I went as Cat Woman!
5. I don't care what else he's ever in, Jeremy Renner will always be Hawkeye to me. ♥
6. Attended a second wedding as an assistant photographer on Friday.
7. Chillin' out with Owl City on my way to said wedding.

1. Shoot to Thrill // AC/DC
2. Live to Rise // Soundgarden
3. Good Time // Owl City and Carly Rae Jensen
4. The Avengers Theme // Alan Silvestri

1. This song is featured in Iron Man 2 - at the beginning of the Stark Expo. It's not something I would usually listen to, but now that it's associated with one of my favorite movies, it sorta has good memories attached to it. ♥
2. This is another song I wouldn't normally listen to, but every time I hear it I'm back in the dark theater waiting for the credits to roll before the special, after-credits-scene in the Avengers. Again, good memories can make all the difference. ♥
3. Yes, this song is still on my playlist. What can I say? I'm consistent.
4. Seeing the Dark Knight Rises made me realize just how much I love the Avengers. Therefore, this song is making a comeback on my playlist.

Lately...

1. "Green tea" from Panera. Glorified limeade I say.
2. Me, getting my baking groove on in my amazing Iron Man apron. Thank you, little sis for that birthday gift!
3. I may or may not have left this note in the container at the bank drive-thru...
4. This week I've become addicted to Avatar: the Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra cartoons.
5. My new Sky Sailing shirt came this week and I painted my nails to match it.
6. Maddie made doughnuts for breakfast. Two words: Ah. Mazing.
7. #ilovepink tag. It was fun, even if it took me forever to get it finished. It was worth it.
8. My new sparkly heels for with my graduation dress.
9. Me looking patriotic for the Independence Day parade yesterday.

1. Eternity // Paul Van Dike featuring Owl City
2. The Avengers Theme // Alan Silvestri
3. Hidden Away // Josh Groban
4. Northbound Train // Martin Phipps

1. You can read my thoughts on this song in my Music Monday post back in April.
2. I love this song so much. I sorta forgot about it for weeks, but when Miss Jack and I started planning one last trip to the theaters to see the Avengers, I remembered it. Omgsh it's so epic.
3. Another great song I've rediscovered. It's one of those great "summer" songs for me. Probably since I first started liking in the very beginning of summer when I went to Alabama with Miss Jack.
4. Another soundtrack song from one of my favorite movies that I'd forgotten! I rediscovered it the other night when I was looking for some good music to listen to before bed, and let me tell you: this is one of the sweetest sounding songs ever. If you haven't seen North & South before, I wrote a whole post on why you should.

You Say "Nerd" Like it's a Bad Thing // Daily Outfit

"That man is playing Galaga! He thought we wouldn't notice... but we did..."
~ Tony Stark; The Avengers

These photos were taken with my new Camera, but they're not much to look at, since Maddie and Anna and I were sorta rushed. We stopped at Lush on the way to Chicago so Maddie could spend the gift card she got for birthday, and we didn't want to take a lot of time since we needed to get Anna to the train station on time. Hehe. Next time I'll do more of a proper photo shoot.

Driving to Chicago was super fun! I love driving and I love going to Chicago. Even though I missed my exit I did fine, we didn't get lost, and we got Anna on her train on time. Score!
