It was a really interesting experiance considering it was the first wedding I've been two in over a year where I didn't have to work (although I still did!), and the first time a sort of "childhood friend" has gotten married. My uncle I have never been super close, but I remember playing with him when I was four or five (we're only seven years apart), and it was so weird to see him getting married! I think the weird thing about growing up is that you don't realize you're doing it until suddenly you're like "holy cow! I'm only a year younger than my dad was when he got married!"
On an entirely different subject, I feel I should inform you all that these pictures were not taking in an as out-of-the-way place as they appear. That road was actually the road 110% of the wedding guests had to drive down to get to the church and I was literally right in front of the church driveway so I'm pretty sure I was known as the "weirdo who was standing in the middle of the road taking pictures of herself" for the rest of the night but I don't care because these pictures turned out so well they are totally worth having almost got run over for. ♥

Great outfit! Also, I'm loving the gold polish on the nails. :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes we have to almost doe to get something wonderful. *Ducks a fly dagger*
ReplyDeleteYou probably hear this a lot and it coming from me will just be weird or awkward or redundant...but you have turned into a very pretty lady. I'm quite proud to still refer to you as my sister.

You look lovely! So chic and classy...it sort of reminds me of an Audrey Hepburn look. Some thing about high waisted skirts and belts always reminds me of Audrey.(;
ReplyDeleteHaha, I bet that must have been pretty awkward taking pictures in such a crowded area! They look really nice, though. I would have never suspected!

Seriously, you look stunning! Isn't it weir taking pictures in front of people? My mister took photos for me the other day in between a couple of our classes, and after every couple of snaps, I would look up to see people just staring at us as they walked by. Awkward...

The detail on this skirt is gorgeous, I love how put-together this all looks! I know exactly what you mean, it's crazy thinking my mom was only a year older than me when she got married. I'll never get used to growing up!
