The Tide Pulls Me Under

I thrifted this dress while Jack was visiting. I'm not usually a fan of maxi dresses on myself, but I just couldn't pass up the lovely lace details on this one!
I wore it the day after I got it. Jack drove me down to the beach and we got to spend some time just walking through the fog and taking lots of pictures. It was a really special time since I don't usually get to go on many adventures with my "big sister."

Wearing this dress totally made me feel like Anne Shirley, or some romantic Jane Austen heroine. It's the sort of dress I would have loved to wear as a young teen - I was so obsessed with Anne Shirley, Jane Austen books and all things medieval. I can't believe how much I've grown up in just a few years!

  5. Oh, and I echo Jen's comment...BBC's North & South is soooo good! I think it's definitely as good as, if not better than, Pride & Prejudice. :)
