WWI Flying Ace

So, yesterday I was very lazy and put off taking a picture of my outfit till late because I didn't love it very much. The result was that I was unable to get any decent pictures, and - since I love and appreciate my dear readers very much - I felt the pictures I did take were so beneath my standards I was unable to post them. I was going to at least do a post and explain why I did not post, but by that time I was so mad and frustrated I did not want to even look at my blog for the rest of the day. I am sorry, dear readers.

Today, however, I am doing much better.

I got this dress several years ago from my favorite thrift store. I have found nearly all my best vintage pieces there. I haven't been able to wear it in a couple years because it had spots on it and I hadn't been able to get it dry cleaned, but I am wearing it now.

I have been hesitant to wear this dress with black tights since orange and black always remind me of Halloween, but I think the scarf helped with this outfit, and with the bomber jacket it totally reminds me of Amelia Earhart (and I know Amelia Earhart wasn't a WWI Flying Ace, but it sounded good ;-D)

In other news I am now on Twitter, and have actually enjoying it lots! If you enjoy my blog please follow me!
