This is my new leather jacket. (I wore it in my last outfit post, too, but I forgot to mention it.) When I saw this leather jacket on Pinterest, I knew it was the thing of dreams. I set about to track it down, and found that Top Shop had a very similar one - which was sold out. They had a tall one, but I was a little unsure about how it would fit. I decided to try it anyway, so I ordered it. And my bank put a hold on my card. So I called my bank, and they "fixed it." So I ordered it again - and had another hold put on my card. I did this four times (btw, I now hate my bank). Finally I just called the stor in Chicago to see if they had it in stock, and while they didn't have the tall size, they did have the original one in stock! And they had one left in my size! So I had them hold it and got it the next day when we met up with my aunt and uncle in the city for lunch - and I've been wearing it ever since. Yay for happy endings!
On another note, I am going to start a shop my closet Store Envy shop this week if anyone is interested. I have a few thrifted finds that I just don't wear anymore, a pair of hardly worn black booties from Target, and several lovely vintage dresses that just aren't my style (including this one). I'll post about that when I have it up.
Hope you all are having a lovely Monday so far!
This dress matches your blog design perfectly ! ;) i think leather jackets look so good with girly florals, you've nailed this look so well lady!
ReplyDeleteAww! You don't like the dress you wore to see Capt America in?! That makes me sad. It's so 40's looking! :'(

The close up photo of your necklace with the woods in the background is breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I've been using my mom's digital SLR camera lately, and the images it produces is *lovely*! <3
DeleteWow what a irritating process!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you were able to get the original one. I looked at the other post too. Love/want/need one! (plus your necklace ;.;)
I am definitely interested in a shop!
what a pretty dress! love it!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit just shouts "Alice in Wonderland" to me. That is totally a good thing. She is a classy dresser! (again, haven't read the book, I'm basing this judgment off of every single movie/tv show I've ever seen about her. haha)
ReplyDeleteWhat a long ordeal just for one order. I would definitely want to switch banks if I were you. Oh well, it seems to be worth it in the end. That is a fine looking jacket!
Thank so much! Yeah, I do want to switch banks. I have to close my account anyway (I got my account when I was 16 so it had to be a joint account with my dad, and apparently they can't just take him off, I have to close my account and open a new one. :-P) so I guess it all works together.

ReplyDeleteYour jacket makes me want to race a motorcycle, like Max did, and try and arrest a gang of bad bikers. And then, go out for ice cream, just because. You can come with me, you can be 99.
ReplyDeleteHm...I bet you could play Star Trek with that jacket. Yeah, random, but passible.
And, no, this point is not supposed to make any sense.
the photos are beautiful that dress looks almost like your blogs background so pretty dear!
