So, I wore this outfit a few days ago. Once again there are shoddy pictures, but I was in a hurry and liked this outfit too much to not get pictures of it. It was very Demi Lovato-inspired since I was in a bad mood that day and needed a pick me up. I love all the black with the pop of color on the dress and the lip stick. (Whoever said you can't wear bold eye make up and bold lips? I reject that reality and substitute my own!)
So... I don't have much to say besides that... I had a lovely outfit planned for today but my Blowfish shoes package did not come yesterday as I had hoped. I. Am. Heartbroken. We are going to my favorite forest preserve tomorrow to get some supplies for a science experiment, and I wanted to get some pictures there. :( Oh well, I suppose I'll wear t to the apple orchard on Saturday, instead.
Yup! That's right, on Saturday we are going to the apple orchard, and we are going to get some non-apple fruit so I can make jam! I'm so excited! I haven't made jam since I was twelve years old helping my grand aunt. And it was sooo much fun! I will for sure get lots of pictures when I do! ♥
So, what's your all favorite part of autumn? Mine is definitely the cool weather; cardigans, boots, jeans and tights; and how beautiful Illinois looks this time of year. I'm not a fan Il the rest of the year, but in autumn it is really lovely. Hopefully I'll get some good pictures on Saturday, since the drive to the apple orchard is gorgeous.
Pretty! That is an awesome belt!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome that you made that dress! It's really beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteAaahhh, apple orchards are my favorite! I definitely want to go to one at some point this fall. My favorite parts of autumn are definitely the tights, cardigans, scarves, cooler weather, and just a whole new feeling that the season brings on. Just a feeling of excitement and confidence...love it. :)

Amazing dress and so fab that you made it. I would have never paired it with a leather jacket but it looks fantastic. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy making the jam! x

i was swooning over that dress and then i saw that you made it...that is awesome! i only hope i can someday be brave enough to attempt making a dress! be sure to take pictures at the apple orchard, it sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun! :)
ReplyDeleteThe apple orchard sounds like it's going to be awesome! I like autumn before it gets too cool, but when there is that slight nip in the air!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty, pretty outfit! You look gorgeous. Wish I was going to an apple orchard - how fun!
ReplyDeleteI've never been berry picking or to an orchard or anything and Oregon is literally crawling with them... I feel a little ashamed, haha. I'm thrilled to see someone else throwing a leather jacket over something more feminine (I love to do that) but I am jealous of your jacket. I'm on the hunt for a good one, still.
ReplyDeleteBlack leather, cool. Not Aeropilotish, but Doctor ish so, cool 8-D
ReplyDeleteThat is all.
No wait...
I don't want your boots anymore, since you have mocked the poor things. I have my own Aeropilot boots now 8-D Will you do an Aeropilot with me when you are out here?
Okay, now that is all.
LOVE YOU!!!
