Banana Tree Studios Deer Head Wall Mount

I have a thing for deer lately. Deer necklaces, rings, dresses, etc. I love it all. I blame the fact that ever since my early teen years I've known lots of hunters, but whatever. I love deer, and one of my favorite deer themed products are these resin deer head wall mounts from Banana Tree Studios. They're such a chic, country inspired look. ♥

I think my favorite is the white one although I do love the fabric covered one, as well. If I had a house in which to hang one, I so would - even if just as a jewelry holder.

This is what I wore on Christmas Eve. The skirt is new - one of the things I got with the ModCloth gift card my parents got me for my birthday. The purse is also new. I got it in part with a gift card from my aunt and one for my cousin, and I am completely in love. I am convinced that this is the most perfect black bag on the plannet. ♥

On Christmas Eve my family straightened up the house, visited my grandparents since we don't see them on Christmas day anymore, and then came home and made homemade pizzas with a salad and fried pizza dough croutons. We ate in front of the TV and watched Jim Carrey's A Christmas Carol (we watch a version of that story every year and Jim Carrey's version is our new favorite). Everything was delicious and the movie was, of course, great. It's really nice to have a day of fun holiday festivities before a relaxing day at home.

Red Hot Love // Daily Outfit

I actually wore this outfit several weeks ago, but I wanted to post it before I get into all the holiday posts. 

My big sis, Jack, helped me plot out this outfit after I got my red ballet flats and needed something to wear with them. Red is one of my favorite colors - very recently, too. I just can't get enough of it! Red shoes, red headbands, red cardigans, red flowers in floral dresses and I'm hoping to get a pair of red tights and red coat this winter! It just makes me feel so pretty and confident whenever I wear it.

Fuzzy Blue Lights by Owl City // Music Monday

You may or may not remember me freaking out that Adam Young preformed Fuzzy Blue Lights at the Owl City concert I had the pleasure of attending. This is one of my favorite songs ever. I fell in love with it as soon as I heard it. I don't know why, but as soon as I heard it made me think of being with my best friends and I felt so happy - sentimental, but happy. It's definitely worth a listen to. ♥

Outfit Recap 2011

Yeah, I know I'm doing this post late, but I don't care. This is my first full calendar year I've blogged and I want to do a recap on all the outfits I've worn this year.

I tried to get a good range of photos - not just new ones - but because of the layout I did there are more newish ones than old ones. I don't mind, though, since my newest ones are my favorite. ♥
